Using Amber on LANTA

This workshop provides an introduction to using the Amber software on the LANTA HPC. The session will cover topics including an overview of Amber modules on LANTA, creating batch job scripts for running Amber jobs through the SLURM scheduler including interactive jobs, and best practices for running Amber on LANTA. This workshop is intended for participants with prior experience using Amber.

By the end of this course, attendees will know how to:

• Use pre-installed Amber modules on LANTA

• Able to run Amber on LANTA (CPU, GPU, Interactive, High throughput)

• Best practices for running Amber on LANTA

Prerequisites:

• Successfully login to LANTA HPC

• Experience with the basic Linux command

• Basic knowledge of the LANTA supercomputer

• Access to the Amber modules on LANTA is required to participate in the hands-on activities. Please refer to Access restricted software for further information.

If the above criteria have NOT been met, we recommend the potential participants to go through Introduction to LANTA HPC beforehand.
