Introduction to LANTA HPC

This course provides an introduction to LANTA HPC, including system overview, software stack and job system. ThaiSC users with prior Linux/UNIX knowledge will get a better understanding of LANTA and will be able to use its computing resources effectively.

By the end of this course, attendees will know how to:

• Use login nodes and quota storage space on LANTA

• Use pre-installed libraries and HPE Cray Programming Environment

• Write job scripts for their application software

• Submit and manage their jobs on the system

Prerequisites:

• Have some experience with Linux/UNIX command lines

• Can successfully login to LANTA HPC

If the above criteria have NOT been met, we recommend the potential participants to go through (at least) Login-to-LANTA and Basic-Linux beforehand.
